We spent the day exploring the central part of this island, especially its northern beaches. Redder dirt than you will ever find. At Stanley Bridge we ate at a seafood restaurant overlooking the harbor and watched as the lobster boats came in and unloaded. And then that evening we went to the musical that was in town: The Buddy Holly Story, and watched as Buddy, the Big Bopper and Richie Valens came back to life. Great show. They played and sang live 25 songs. It was as much concert as musical: "Peggy Sue", "Everyday, Things are Gettin' Better, "Chantilly Lace", " La Bamba".
